Total Earth Care is aware of the fine balance between built and natural environments. As our name implies, we are committed to ensuring the mindful consideration of all resources - natural, cultural, and manufactured. We are continuously striving to make a positive contribution and through our services, we work to avoid and mitigate adverse environmental impacts. Total Earth Care ensures that this philosophy is a common value across our staff, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers through education, training, project planning, and review.
At Total Earth Care we consider it a fundamental responsibility to lead by example when it comes to environmental education, awareness, and action. Between December 2019 and February 2020, all of our 50+ employees voted on the climate emergency declaration as a private company. It was clear that all staff were concerned about climate change and the majority expressed their belief that without radical action our planet and humankind have a very grim future ahead.
Throughout our 30 years of operation, we have ensured that the preservation and restoration of our natural areas are always at the forefront. We will not make compromises at the detriment of our natural environment. We have been achieving this through: Large-scale revegetation projects (native tree planting and bush revegetation); Habitat creation; Soil Seed Bank Translocation; Integrated bush fire management.
Total Earth Care recognises that the implementation of all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is paramount for a sustainable future. We recognise that they are interconnected, thus the improvement of one SDG will have a positive impact on the rest. We strive to contribute to all 17 SDGs.
